The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Maryland is pleased to announce its first annual Cerebrovascular and Skull Base 360° Course. The course embraces a “360 degree” philosophy, examining neurological pathologies in a comprehensive manner and considering all aspects of different surgical options.

In this course, participants will explore the intricacies of cerebrovascular and skull base surgery and gain unique insights into different surgical strategies alongside the masters: Dr. Tanikawa, Dr. Nakaji, Dr. Kong, Dr. Youssef, Dr. Lawton, Dr. Patel, Dr. Mostafa, and Dr. Khan. The participants will examine clinical case studies, implement surgical strategies and advanced surgical techniques in bypass and skull base surgery, through hands-on laboratory experiences and active discussions.

The course aims to equip participants with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to excel in this challenging yet rewarding field of neurosurgery.
